Bruce Stone provides you with access to a variety of our resources (“Services”) including but not limited to features designed to allow for communication with our professionals and staff to facilitate filing of intellectual property applications. All Bruce Stone Services, including any updates, enhancements, new features, and/or the addition of any new web properties, are subject to these terms and conditions.

Billing

Bruce Stone LLP will extend all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of billing throughout the Bruce Stone website. However, should billing errors occur, you hereby grant Bruce Stone LLP a reasonable amount of time to identify and correct the error, not to exceed 90 days from the date of written notice identifying the billing error. By using the Bruce Stone website you expressly consent to Bruce Stone LLP adjusting, without prior notice, any insufficient payments made by you to reflect the cost of actual services rendered. Your consent includes authorizing subsequent processing of credit card transactions to cover insufficient payment. Additionally, you agree to provide Bruce Stone with any information or authorization required to process a subsequent payment.

Agreement to Maintain Client Files in Electronic Format Only

In the event that Bruce Stone LLP sends you confirmation that it shall represent you, Bruce Stone or its attorneys may send you documents, correspondence, and other information. These copies will be your file copies. Please retain them. Bruce Stone LLP will also keep the information in electronic format in our office, which will be our file. You hereby agree to the use of electronic only file formats in relation to your client files and waive any claims regarding attorney duties of competence, diligence, and communication in relation to storage of client files in electronic format. When Bruce Stone LLP has completed all the legal work necessary for your case, we will close our file and return original hardcopy documents to you if any. Bruce Stone LLP will then store the electronic files for approximately 3 years. We will destroy any files after that period of time unless you instruct us in writing within 3 months of the start of the attorny client relationship to keep your file longer.
